Believing that life always gives us all a second chance is too bookish a thought. Because sometimes, by the time we finally realize our faults and true potential, times have changed dramatically.
Like a couple of migratory birds, both Charlie and Edwin leave everything back in their village and settle for a new life in the big city. For Edwin, it was where he was going to chase his dreams of becoming an actor; But for Charlie, it was just another place to be with his only friend, to help him accomplish his dreams.
However, life seemed to have different plans as it throws Charlie in Aster’s way, who was silently walking through instabilities of her own destiny. He could never have guessed, but he was in for an absolute unthoughtful phase of profoundness, which was going to last forever.
Promise me a Million Times is a story of dreams, friendship, struggles and a will to make up for every loss with love by your side.

Promise me a million times evidently shows the home work done by its author, Mr. Keshav Aneel for his debut work. From its beautiful cover, the plot… the catchy title to the presentation he took great care to bring out the best I think. The story is mainly focused on Charlie, Aster and Edwin; on their voyage of love, friendship, dreams, trust and life… no it is not the usual as you might think! It stands out different and creative for sure!

The book effortlessly succeeds in creating the best first impression and does justice to it. The author easily connects with the readers with his plot and the presentation. The experiment with the background and name of the leads, considering it is an Indian book is impressive and fresh.  I liked how it sidetracks from cliche on love and friendship . The framework of characters and plot-line is concrete and effective. The beauty of the book will grip you for sure and with that it stands out strongly. The way the author handled emotions and bonds is appreciable.

Even though the presentation made it fresh, it could have been much better as i see great potential. A little bit of care needed on language. It became a little predictable which could have been taken care of.

I would rate this book 4.25/5 and invite my readers to give it a try, you will love it for sure!
