Her Last Wish is an inspiring story of love, relationships and sacrifice, which proves once again how a good wife makes the best husband.

Review:

“Love is that force that could light up even the most hopeless situation and make it worth living”

Meet Vijay whose life took a downward curve with degrading confidence and bundling failure owing to the pressure from his over-expectant father. To his luck he was able to rise up again in his life with the light brought in by Astha, his wife, with her love and charisma. As they say, happiness is always served less; Astha falls prey to HIV shadowing his happy life. But this time he is not ready to give up easily he stands strong for them to face the fate. Will their unconditional love shine above every odds?! Her Last Wish takes you on a feel-train through love, relationships and sacrifice.

The first person narration style connects well with the reader. The way each character is framed about and how relationships are presented in the story is impressive. The emotions and feelings that the characters go through at each phase is brought out well; it wont be surprising if a tear or two escape your eyes. The engaging plot-line along with the lucid writing style takes it to a different level. You will be walking along with the characters as you read; feeling and listening to them.  It is also to be noted that the book effectively shows how society treats a HIV patient. I liked the father -son duo, the transition they had in their relation. The author indeed succeeded in proving his worth for best selling author status.

The title of the book is apt for the theme but it made it a bit predictable. The plot could have included a few twist and turn points to avoid making it predictable.

I would rate this touching and beautiful story 4.25/5 🙂
