BLURB~

The trio Amar, Akbar and Anthony had no clue whatsoever about their goddammit indecisive-careers-and-indefinite-struggles.
And that was because they were born with the Peter Pan Syndrome and were simple enough to be tricked by anyone, including their mystifying girlfriends—Meghna, Farah and Sarah.
And as is the fate of all morons, they were drawn into trouble—deep trouble—of hiding crores of rupees of black money in secret offshore companies.

Will their mistake of turning a blind eye to the philosophy of ‘See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ cost them their careers and put them in prison?
Or
Will Lady Luck change their fortunes forever?

REVIEW~

“Life is exciting when you have money, honey, and cronies …………. and then you are hunted down by the police!”                                                                                                   ~ The Three Wise Monkeys.

Jeet Gian after his debut The 3-U Turns of My Life is up with another story of CA life- The Three Wise Monkeys. Amar, Akbar and Antony , the indecisive and not so wise trio who are not ready to grow up, get their life screwed falling for a scam. The 3 CA’s journey takes twists and turns as they try to figure a way out of it; there are their girlfriends to add up too. Life throws them hard lessons, money laundering issue leads way to bars… and it is up to them to solve them and gain experience… at the end what will these naive minds come up with? Curious?! grab a copy soon…

From the very first page you can start chuckling… The Three Wise Monkeys is loaded with humor and it is a total fun package. Amar, Akbar and Anthony with their weird or naive way of doing things will give you a good time laughing. The writer superbly sketched their lives incorporating the concept of black money, money laundering, CA as a career etc in a fun filled manner. I personally felt it to be apt as script for a Bollywood movie! Each character stands out so well in the story with their nicely done framework. The balance between the trio and their girlfriend worked out well between humor and seriousness. I liked the concept of it with its outstanding presentation, it was something creative to read.

The book was a bit lengthy though with a few chapters detailed more than necessary. There a few places that could have been better, brought about.

I will rate this 4.25/5 🙂 … Those who love to read light and funny stories … this is your pick and by the way if you want to know what is to be expected from the book read the ABOUT THE AUTHOR below 😉
