What happens when you fall in love at first sight? That too in college, which is supposed to be the best time of one’s life. But is it the best place to find love too?
Viraj falls head over heels in love with his classmate Nimisha, who could make boys on campus go crazy. While his friends Punit and Sahil just want to have fun – despite poor mark-sheets, grace marks to pass, and other everyday adventures – Viraj wants more from his life and love.
Life has led Viraj to the edge of a cliff. He has a choice to make – to forget everything and jump, or fight.
What brought him here? An unrequited love, encounters with law, or the dilemma of grace marks? Where does Viraj’s story eventually end?
Welcome to 37 + Grace Marks, Viraj’s journey to discover that there is more to life than marks.
A few years after college you are not going to remember your class time but your time spent with friends, you are not going to remember the number you scored but your friend’s phone numbers!
37+ Grace Marks presents a story about youth, college life, and romance. One among lakhs, Viraj struggled hard and got into a prestigious institute for his further studies. But his momentum is not maintained there, living the life of fun, pleasure, and romance, he had to depend on grace marks to move on to next semesters. Will he go down the pit or will he bounce back? The simple and easy to connect story is what that keeps you linked to the book. Viraj is someone who you can see around yourself or maybe IN yourself. The language is simple and easy. It has a motivational aspect to it, it tells you that life is more than about the marks you score or the people you come across, it’s more about finding yourself. The book cover and the title pleased me too.
The writing style could have been a bit better and I expected more from the plot, something more intriguing and suspenseful. Other than those, as it is, it was a good read.
I will rate it 4/5 🙂
