 Review –
Its relatively rare to come across a book that wont just leave your hands and let you sleep until you finish it with a character who will steal your heart and The Investigator Series by Arvind Narsima is one such book and Arya is one such character.
The writing is brilliant that the story will play in your mind like visuals as you read and the characters are pulled off very well such that Arya , Shivani , Abhinaya, Srinivasan … they all wont easily leave your mind.
Each character holds different shades to them that gets uncovered as the story moves on.The suspense, emotions and integrity of the plot line and characters are handled well. The way each case is solved is impressive. I wished for Shivani’s involvement a little more in the cases, a chance to exhibit her brilliance to balance or lighten the heroism of Arya, to be real and… much more complex cases.
I am eagerly waiting for the next part with more tough cases and more of Shivani.
I would rate this book 4.5 and recommend it to all readers along with special applause to the writer.

This is the debut novel for the author, Arvind Narsima Mourty. The author lives in the beautiful Pondicherry along with his wife and daughter. He left a lucrative job to pursue a dream and a quest to become a celebrated writer. His area of interests lay largely in adventures and mysteries. An avid reader and a prolific writer, he has won many prizes and kudos for his creative writing. He has written many dramas, stories and poems that were performed during the memorable years of school and college. Few of his favourite writers include Robert Ludlum, Clive Cussler, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Chetan Bhagat, Ashwin Sangi and Amish Tripati. Other than reading and writing, he loves to cook and extensively travel.
